Fanii romani (Ahimoaie Alexandru Andrei) le-a spus celor din formatie: „Bun venit in Romania!”

(Diana Georgescu, Project Events)

I-am contactat si pe reprezentantii formatiei si asteptam raspunsurile acestora.

 UPDATE 2

Maximum Rock Magazin a obtinut IN EXCLUSIVITATE o declaratie oficiala de la Silenoz, chitaristul Dimmu Borgir, aparent pagubit in Romania.

„The reason why I waited this long before I made a public announcement was simply because before I file an insurance claim I wanted to see if the guitar would show up somehow, in best case that the perpetrator would hand it back and come clean and be a man – or a woman – about it. It sucks to be a patient man sometimes, I know, and it doesn’t look like it will show up anytime soon and however naive this might appear I now have to conclude that someone, somewhere, is in possession of it without the intent of being honest.

Then again I didn’t know there was a particullar time frame or deadline in which you report stolen instruments internationally to keep your credibility meter up, in this particullar case a very special guitar. We’ve been on this since it happened – which was prior to our set at Ost Fest, but without any luck through the grapewine during the period of the festival season. Exactly where, when and how this happened is of course just speculation, I have since then stopped blaming people. So as a last resort I’m turning to our fans, fellow colleauges and artists in the music business to be on the look out in case they’d come across it – somewhere. Perhaps it’s too much to ask and expect… If it was one of my LTD’s however, it’d wouldn’t have been such big of a deal even though that would of course suck too, but this is the prototype of my siganture series guitar with ESP Guitars & Basses.

My intention was obviously not to offend the Romanian people or fans when announcing this – that goes without saying – I never said I thought a Romanian person took it, I just informed where it happened – this could’ve happened anywhere, in any country and it could very well have been transported to a different country by now – who knows! But if I don’t include where the guitar was stolen then it’s kinda pointless. I’m not responsible for what other people understand, I stick to what I know which are the facts to the extent I know them and pass it on. It was not because of attention purposes either as some people oddly seem to believe – I get attention enough as it is.

That being said, despite what happened we had a great first time in Romania and we’d love to come back and play for our fans – we appreciate your support very much! What happened just goes to show that there are assholes everywhere – whatever nationality. I just never expected that I publically had to defend my reason for wanting my guitar back and explain myself over again because a few out there always have the urge to take things out of context. Without risking anymore of that shit I’ll stop the rant here. Silenoz”
